Capt. Whipple who sailed last Night for Philadelphia took a Schooner of 30 Tons from Boston in Ballast addressed to G. [George] Rome for fresh Provisions.3 Capt. [David] Arnold who came Passenger in her informs me that, when he left Boston, which was Ten Days ago, about 500 Troops had arrived there.
