Sir At a Consultation held at the Generals by your desire in May last, upon the Subject of the Boston Port Act, it appeared to be the opinion of the Attorney General that Vessels might be admitted into this Harbor under certain circumstances & be Stationed at certain places under your immediate direction but not upon any account to be permitted to unload any part of their Cargoes ー We are to request you will inform us if any and what Vessels have arrived in this Harbor since that time, and whether they have been ordered by you to any particular station & have remained in the state in which they arrived.ー
