The needful of this is to beg the favour you will assist the bearer, Captain Offin Boardman, in getting a commission for the schooner Washington, 2 as we have fitted her for a privateer. In case you would be bondsman for Captain Boardman, we will, at all events, indemnify you. Your compliance with this request will lay us under the strongest obligations to you.
