Dear Sir The Sailors in the barracks complain of the want of suitable accommodations for an hospital. A few of them on the province island hospital (who are on the recovery) beg for liberty to be removed to the barracks. I hope the committee of Safety will attend immediately to these Matters.
I am sorry to find that our recruits suffer so much from the Want of blankets. Suppose the committee of Safety should request by an Advertisement every family in the city to furnish one, or more from their beds acording as they could spare them. I have mentioned this Subject to above a dozen families in the city who have all expressed a desire to concur in it if they are properly called upon them. ー From Dr Sir [&c.]
