I have communicated to my Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty your Letter of yesterdays date, informing them that a Whaling Brig belonging to Rhode Island and Nantucket, bound to Falklands Island is arrived Spithead from Fayal, where she was seized by Captain [Francis] Banks of the Renown and that the Petty Officer who brought her home informd you that four more are seized by the Renown and Experiment and on their passage to Spithead, and therefore desiring to have their Lordship's directions what to do with them; and I am commanded to acquaint you that you may expect to receive their Lordship's direction respecting them very soon.
