Ordnance Office 21st Decr 1775
Dear Sir,
The Ordnance Transports were ordered to go to Cork except the Earl of Darby, which was to receive 5000 Stand of Arms at Portsmo taken out of the Russia Merchant (a Storeship bound to Boston) in pursuance of Lord Dartmouth's Letter, and according to the best of my Judgment the Thunder Bomb's Tender is gone thither. Lord George Germain may rely upon every thing depending on the Ordnance Department having been dispatched ー
I say this in Confidence to you, and that the Weight has fallen heavily on &c
John Boddington
