It being generally reported that a Number of Warlike Vessells are to be fitted for Sea, for the Protection of our Trade. likewise to take Seize & Destroy all Enemys to the Liberties of America, As tis not doubted but that a Number of Gentlemen will make applications to your Honours, We beg leave to recommend Mr John Lambert a Gentleman, who has followed the Seas for Fourteen years past, whose Charracter in private Life has been unexceptionable, & 11is Publick Conduct merrits the Esteem of all the Friends to America,
