At Anchor off Patapsco river — at 8 AM got the Lower Yards and Top gallant Masts up, at 9 the Admiral made Sigl for the fleet to weigh, Do hove short — Fresh Gales and Cloudy, PM weighed and came to Sail, the fleet having all passed, made Sail after them, Two of the enemys Galleys came out of Baltimore & looked at us, but returned again, at 10 Anchd by the Small Bower Sharps Island SEbS & Hollands point SW dist 2½ Miles
