In the River Delaware at 8 AM weigh'd as Pr Signl in Co with the Roebuck, Solebay, Camilla, & Pearl, empd working up the River at 11 Do brot too off Chester in 5½ fm boats empd embarking Troops Light Airs & Calms, at 7 PM the Rebels sent a Large Fire Raft down the River, to burn us, & from their Gallies fir'd Several Shot at us weigh'd & Dropt a Little lower Down, & fir'd a number of Shot at their Gallies &c
