Your Letter of the 13th Inst—was this Evening laid before the Board,1 and in Answer thereto am to Inform you that the Board will not agree to your proposals. As you have Every Advantage that is allowed in the Merchant Service, you must Expect to run the same risk that Captns. in the Merchants Service do, if [break] not agreeable to you another Master must be [break] the Rattle Snake—2
