In Provincial Congress ー Watertown May 5th 1775
On a motion made by Capt McCobb, that some measures might be taken to preserve a Number of large Masts, Plank &c now lying in Kennebec River, and to prevent their being carried to Hallifax, where they might be appropriated to the injury of this Countryー
Ordered ー That the Consideration thereof be referred to the Committee of Safety & that Capt Mc Cobb be desired to attend the said Committee & give them all the information he can relative theretoー
