Sir, We have heard of your Return into this Country these six Weeks, and are also informed, that you are loading out and intend to sail again Soon for the foreign West-Indies.ー
We expected from thence a valuable Cargo in your vessel, in return for that sent out, but have neither received an Account of your Arrival there, Sales of your Cargo, or what you have brought to America in Return.ー
As we cannot doubt but that you have a Letter to us from one of our Agents on those subjects, or can give us the necessary information, we cannot help expressing our Surprize that you have not long ago done it, and hope that you will immediately, on Receipt of this, acquaint us with all you know on the Subject, and also transmit such Letters as you may have to us.ー
