[Fishkill] Tuesday Morning, Novr. 26,1776.
The defence of Hudson's river being riot only absolutely necessary for the security of this State, but also for the defence of the United American States, and keeping up a communication between the eastern and southern States,
Resolved, That the committee heretofore appointed to obstruct the navigation of Hudson's river, or any three of them, be directed to report some form of a plan for perfecting the same, with all convenient speed.
A letter from Augustine Lawrence and Samuel Tudor, dated at Poughkeepsie, the 25th inst. relative to the removing of the ships at Poughkeepsie 2 was read.
