[Halifax] Thursday April 25 1776
Resolved, That Charles Robb, Thomas Douglas and Thomas Mander, lately taken at Occacock on Board of a Tender, be admitted to their parole they have signed a Declaration for that purpose Ordered; That Mr Harnett [Cornelius Hartnett], Mr Thomas Jones and Mr Skinner, be a Committee to settle the Salvage of such Vessels as are lately taken, which the Captors may be inthled to Resolved That a Special Court of Admiralty be appointed to Try the Tender Sloop the Lilly and her Cargo, and that for this purpose Richard Cogdell, Esquire, be appointed judge of the said Court John Cook Esquire Advocate, and Thomas Setgreaves, Esquire Register and Martial; and that in Case of Condemnation the proceeds of the Sales after defraying the reasonable Charges of Condemnation, be divided between the Captors.
