Voted That Application be made to the Hon^ble. the Council of the State of Rhode Island¹ that they would Supply this board with the sum of three thousand pounds on loan to Enable them to dispatch the business assigned by Congress

Voted That a Letter be wrote to Maj^r. Huntington² in answer to his of the 10^th. of Octo^r instant and to let him know that this board can't agree to allow more than 10^s/ a day to the Carpenters.—

Voted That Instructions be sent to Capt. Whipple³ Commander of the Ship Providence to proceed with his Ship and assist General Spencer & his Army in their landing on Rhode Island and to prevent the Enemy from molesting them
