The Commissary General has informed me that agreeable to your order1 he hath enquired for a proper place for a hospital & finds the house lately occupied by John Patton very fit for that purpose—Under circumstances your honorable house will determine whether it will be necessary to appropri[ate] to that use by Law immediately
