Resolved That the Judges of the Courts of Justice for hearing and determining Maritime Matters at the Ports of Edenton Bath New Bern and Wilmington shall before they enter upon the Execution of their respective Offices take the following Oath to wit. "I A.B ー do swear upon the holy Evangelists of Almighty God, that I will in all Cases which may come before me as Judge of the Court of Justice for hearing and determining Maritime Matters at the Port of ———— execute the said Office with integrity impartiality and according to the best of my skill and Ability."
