This is to inform you of my being arrived here in the Captina, Capt. Ceutrich, having lost the Minehead, which was taken from me Sept. 4, by the Hawke privateer, Malachy Lee, commander, of eight guns and 60 men, almost all of whom were Old-England-men;2 they also took nine other sail the same day, but released all but mine, it being the best sailing ship among them.
