Providence, September 21.
The Privateer General Greene, of East-Greenwich, and the Privateer Harlequin, of Baltimore, have taken a Jamaica Ship, of 310 Tons, and sent her into a safe Port: Her Cargo consists of 372 Hogsheads of Sugb, 82 Puncheons of Rum, 36 Pipes and 4 Hogsheads of Madeira Wine, 1800 Pounds Weight of Copper, &c. This Ship we hear sailed in Company with a large Fleet, convoyed by two Men of War, one of which was soon to leave them; the other, said to be a dull Sailer, was to proceed with them to Europe.
