Arrived his Majesty's ships Blond and Cygnet, from Newfoundland, with the following ships under their convoy, viz. the George, Baker; Mermaid, Cockland; Margaretta, Hunter; Lord Howe, ———; and Swan, Deal; all from New York, with about 60 sail more that are gone for the Downs; and an American sloop that was cut out of Salem by William Cummings, and others, being part of the crew of the Jenny of Tynmouth, who was taken the 18th of September, by the True American privateer, and carried in there. Several other ships are arrived here, names unknown.
