At 7 AM unmoor'd at 8 Weigh'd & came to Sail at ½ past 9 Anchor'd the Ice comeing up very thick at ½ past 11 Weigh'd & came to Sail. Fresh Breezes & Clear Weathr at 2 PM Sail'd thro, the Narrows at 5 PM fir'd a Gun & Made the Signl for a boat to take the Pilot out at ½ past Discharg'd the Pilot at 6 PM Sandy hook Light house WSW½W 1 Leag at 8 PM the Light house WBS 3 Leags 2
