2. According to the journal of the Senegal, the prize brig was sent to Halifax on March 14. She was the Mermaid, David Bray, master, William Freeman, owner, from Dominica for Liverpool with molasses, rum, flour and coffee, Shuldham's Prize List, May 23, 1776, PRO, Admiralty 1/484.
