Tuesday Night last, in a severe Gale of Wind, two Sloops and a Schooner, belonging to the ministerial Fleet, were drove ashore on Hope-Island; one of the Sloops, is entirely under Water, and the Schooner dismasted ー A Sloop of 40 Tons, belonging to Bristol, in coming up the River, ran on Coninicut Point, and sunk.
Wednesday Evening Capt. Remington arrived at Narraganset from Jamaica, he informs, that a large Ship, supposed to be a Man of War of 20 Guns, was drove ashore on the Back of Long Island in the above Gale.
