Wellfleet March 13th 1776
I have inclos'd you an Estimate of the several Losses I have sustain'd by the Ministerial Ships. 2 the Vessells I lost were employ'd in carrying Oysters to Cohasset for the Benefit of the Continental Army. I have waited some Time for a convenient Opportunity to transmit an Estimate of my former Loss, since which I have suffer'd the latter, which was the very Vessel that was cast ashore at Scituate and got off again, & then taken by the Man of War I am Sir [&c.]
