Gave Liberty to Capt William Pearne to fix a Vessel out for the Foreign West Indies, To be loaded with Such Articles as are not forbid by any Resolve of the Continental Congress. Among other articles, to carry about 70 M of Boards, the Neat proceeds of Which is to be laid out in Such things as We may direct ー the Colony to receive the Same on their Arrival, Allowing the first Cost, Customary Commissions & Freight home, the Residue to be laid out as he may think fit, for all Which he is to give Bonds.
