You will please to acquaint my Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty, that his Majesty's Ship under. my Command Anchored here this Evening, where I found their Lordships Orders of the 4th. Instant to take the Two Highland Regiments under Convoy as soon as they were Embarked, and proceed with them to Boston in New England; I have received from Lieutenant Henry the Agent for the Transports a List of the Ships, and find there are One Thousand and Two Hundred Embarked, and the remainder expected in a day or two, and as soon as they are on board, shall put their Lordships Orders in Execution, without a Moments loss of time. I have likewise received your Letter Signifying their Lordships direction-to proceed with the said Transports by the North of Ireland, as also the Private Signals, which shall be kept Secret, Inclosed is the State and Condition of the Ships.
