We whose Names are hereunto Subscribed have been on board the Washington Brig and there taken a strict and careful Survey of her Hull, Masts and Yards and find as follows, Vizt
The whole of the Timbers under the Deck ー Rotten and totally decayed. The Main Beam and foremost Beam decayed. The Ceiling forward very bad. The Main Deck totally decayed. The Bowsprit sprung in two places. The Main Boom sprung in two places. And we are of Opinion that the Hull in the present State is not fit for Sea.
