Fresh Gales & squally Weather at 6 PM employd carrying [the] Troops. Volunteers & Marines to Ferry Point.

at 8 AM heard they had retreated & that several were killed & wounded ー received fresh Beef on Board ー. Fresh Breezes & cloudy. PM Employd taking our wounded Troops [&] Marines & Volunteers from Ferry Point.
