We are maiking Approaches nearer the Enemy Constantly ー Cobble Hill was fortified without Molestation, which is situate very near them ー we are now fortifying on Leechmore's Point, but a very small distance from Boston, from which Place the Town can no doubt be distroyed Yesterday and this day they fired pretty briskly upon our People, but did little Execution.

There were two French Gentlemen of Distinction here about two days ago immediately from France, they brought 20 Tons of Powder, and the General provided them Carrages and they went immediately to the Congress, for what Purpose you may Judge
