The Enemies Fleet is now at Anchor in the Bay, about 25 Miles from the Mouth of Patuxent. I have ordered another Class from some of the Companies on Duty, & as soon as the ships disappear shall discharge them — Yesterday Morning a Boat from the Fleet was taken by the Guard, in wch was a Mulatto Man 10 good Muskets, 10 broad swords & 10 Cartouch Boxes — the Fellow says he belongs to Mr Carroll of Charrolton also the Boat — that he with two others were taken going from Cooks Point to Poplar Island Tuesday Evening. shall wait yours and the Councils Orders which I hope to receive when Capt Grahame returns.
