STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE. In Committee of Safety, June 19, 1778.
WHEREAS Complaint has been made to this Committee, that sundry armed Vessels belonging to [t]he other United States, have come to this Port to recruit Men, and some of the Officers of said Vessels have imprudently enlisted sundry Men belonging to French Ships trading here, either on the Continental Account, or otherwise, to the great Damage of their Trade with us:—
Therefore Resolved, that such Practices be discontinued for the future; and it is hereby recommended to all civil Officers in this State to see this carried into Execution.
