We are Sorry that we must be so Urgent at this Time for the Remainder of the Cordage & Hemp for the frigate under our Direction,2 We are in the Greatest want of it and must Desire you to purchase the Remainder without Any Delay as we are fearfull there will be no Communication by Water to New York in a Very Short Time ー
The 16 Inch Cable which we had the Offer of Some time Ago we are Disappointed in, must Desire you to get it made with the Other Cordage ー We have had no Letter from you for Some time Past, Shall be much Obligd to you for a Line by the Return of the Post And are in the Intrem Gentlemen [&c.]
