[Annapolis] Friday, October 11; 1776.
On motion of Mr. [William] Paca, Resolved, That the several vessels lately drifted on the shores of this state from lord Dunmore's fleet, or otherwise made captures of, be raised up, appraised, and fitted out for the use of thisstate, or exposed to sale, at the discretion of the Council of Safety; the cargoes of the said vessels to be also exposed to sale, and the monies arising from the sale of the said vessels and cargoes, be paid into the hands of the treasurer of the western shore, subject to the disposal of this or a future Convention or legislature.
