The Earl of Suffolk having signified to my Lords Commrs of the Admty His Majts Pleasure that the Lieutenant & Twelve other Prisoners belonging to an American Arm'd Vessel call'd the Independance, who were brought to Portsmouth in His Majesty's Ship the Pallas, be kept in safe Custody 'til farther Order; I am commanded by their Lordships to signify their direction to you to cause them to be removed into the Barfleur and there kept in safe Custody until further orders accordingly.
