Since our last Captain [Elisha] Warner arrived here from New York ー A Quantity of Small-Arms, &c. lately arrived there from England, the Property of two Merchants of this Town, having been put on board Captain Warner, were seized and detained by the Officers of the Customs.
Saturday last [December 31] the Hind Frigate, of 20 Guns, arrived at Newport from England.
