Last Wednesday se'nnight [May 31] a Number of Provincials, under the Command of Col. [John] Robinson, made an Acquisition of about 500 Sheep and 30 Head of Cattle from Pettick's island.

And on Friday Night last [June 2] the Provincial Troops made another Acquisition of about 800 Sheep and Lambs from off Deer Island, together with a Number of Cattle. ー Major [John] Greaton, who commanded this Party, also took a Barge belonging to one of the Men of War, together with 4 or 5 Prisoners.
