Sunday, Nov. 26 Last night it hailed, rained, and snowed. In the morning, thick weather, stormy with snow, which continued all the forenoon. At noon, saw Mr. Royal returning from the meeting-house he says, that, last Friday [November 24], one of our privateers went out of Plymouth into Nantasket; there cut out a brig loaded with provisions and stores belonging to the king; brought her out, and sent her to the northward. The privateer stood to the southward; she was chased by a man-of-war, but got clear.2
