Sunday 24th Strong Gales & fair [at] 4 [P.M.] Wore ship bent the Foretopsail
Monday 25th 5 [A.M.] set close reefd TS 10 out reefs & up top G. Yd. [P.M.] took the M.aria in Tow [at] 6 Cape Henlopen light House WNW 4 Miles [at] 8 run upon the beach at ½ past backd off again Anchord in Old Kiln Road in 5 [fathoms] the light House SE½S 1 Mile down top G. Yds.
