At a Special Meeting of the Committee 21 July 1775
Mr David Stewart applied for Liberty to remove part of the Tea lodged with the Committee in December last from onboard the Snow Potowmack alledging as a Reason therefor that it was not Safe from Cruizers, which was granted And the two Gentn of the Committee who have it now in Possession are directed to deliver it, taking an Accot of the Packages with a Receipt for the same. And Mr Stewart stands accountable for delivering a Certificate from the Committtee of such district as it may be lodged with for Security.
A Letter from Mr. Geo. Dent Chairman of the Comittee at Potowmack relative to the due Importation of some Parcells of Goods sent there by Mr. Johnson Gildart was directed to be ansd by the Chairman.
