The Otter1 having but one Anchor left, I am obliged to send her to New York, for others, the Solebay Captain Symonds2 informs me by letter has but two Anchors, which I acquainted You of by a letter gone in the Hotham Tender,3 and Captain Molloy has this day told me he is in want of two Cables. 4
Should an oppertunity offer, You will please to send those Ships a Supply of these Articles, and I shall hope the Otter will return here as soon as possible.
I have directed Captain Squire to leave a letter to my Lord Howe, on board some Ship in the Dellaware in his way. I am [&c.]
