The Haerlem Sloop, coming into the harbour this morning from the Seconnet,1 was taken for an unarmed vessel by some Rebel boats from point Judith, who put off to attack her;2 but a Signal being made by the Commodore3 for the Pigot and Spitfire Gallies4 to go out, and they being followed by some armed boats, the Rebels were afraid of being intercepted, and retreated precipitately.
