I have to Enform your Honour that I maid my Escape on the 20^th. of las^t. month from Mill Prison¹ and got Secrted at M^r. Philip Hancock^s. Ply^mo. Dock till the 5^th of this Month and on the 7 got to London whear I remained till the 12^th. and on the 13^th. got to Harriage² and on the 14^th. Embarked in the Packet for Helford Sluce³ whear I arived the 16^th. and got hear las^t. night whear as I maid application to M^r. Hope⁴ for Some assistance but Could not get non with out your Aprobation as their is know ageant hear M^r. Hope Encloses this to his frind in Parris whear as he will deliver it to your Honour Whear as I Shall be obliged to Stay hear till I Receive Your Honours assistiance and Instructions⁵ M^r. Hancock has come Along with me and is ancious to See Your Honour he has boar my Expences to hear and we have not Cash enouf to Carrey us to Paris I lef^t. my Brother officers all well when I lef Prison one of the Peopple Died Since Cap^t Johnson⁶ left us and their was two of them Dangierousley ill when I lef^t. them.
