Cloudy Wear. and modt Winds at 1PM the remr of the Enemys Ships wt. out ye Harbour weighd & stood to the SE at 3 do Tack'd & stood into the Harbour passing our Battery wh their Topsails lower'd & Courses up, a Smart firing on both sides at 5 do made the sigl to Scuttle & quite at 6 do Cut away our lower Masts & Bowsprit & sent the people on Shore, wch. Example was followed by the Falcon1 & sevl of the Transports,2 Grand Duke Store Ship3 on Fire
