A correspondent who has kept an account of the ships taken by the Americans, which come to his knowledge, says they amount to ninety-three.
By a letter from Lisburne [Lisburn], dated October the 15th, we learn that an American privateer came to anchor in the harbour of Newry on the 13th inst. and demanded provisions, for which payment was offered. She mounted 18 carriage guns, had 125 men on board, and is a new vessel well built. She remained but a few hours, then weighed anchor and sailed to the northward. Those who observed her under way think ner a remarkably swift sailer.
