Remarks on Board the Boston Saturday June 27th. 1778
The first part of this 24 Hours, Light Winds and Clear Weather, Saw a Ship & gave Chase, at 3 PM the Wind took our Ship aback, got our Starboard Tacks on Board & set all Sail by the Wind. At 4 PM. Very moderate the Ship gaind from us. Bore away and gave over Chace. at 6 hove out the pinnace and I Went on board Capt. Murray,1 Mr. Reed my first Lieut.—Capt. Murray sent me some American Papers to perruse which I am much oblidged to him for.
