The Robert, Hall, from Dominica for this port,1 is taken by the Warren privateer2 and carried into Boston.
1. Snow Robert, James Hall, master, 150 tons burthen, built in Bristol, England, in 1764, owned by Samuel Spann; it carried six guns. Lloyd’s Register of Ships, 1777–1778. A libel notice in the Boston Gazette of 23 Apr. 1778 gives the tonnage of Robert as “about 180 tons.”
