The Surprize, letter of marque, of Guernsey,1 has taken and sent into that island two French ships, viz. the Success brig, with salt, iron, &c. bound to Boston;2 and L’Enfer de Bourdeau, capt. Mernet, a ship of 250 tons, with 194 tons of salt, and 11,896 pair of shoes.3
